Andrew Ecker and Monica Patton bring over 25 years of combined experience creating transformational spaces through rhythm, sound, and sacred practice. Together, they offer a powerful blend of evidence-based group drumming, sound medicine, and ceremonial facilitation that supports healing, connection, and community.
Andrew Ecker
Andrew Ecker is a nationally recognized speaker, author of The Sacred 7, and creator of the Drumming Sounds Protocol—an evidence-based group drumming intervention used in mental health, recovery, and community wellness settings. As a White Bison Certified Recovery Coach and Peer Support Specialist Andrew has dedicated his life to supporting individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and suicide prevention.
With over two decades of lived experience in recovery, Andrew brings a deeply authentic and compassionate presence to his work. His approach integrates Indigenous worldview and ceremonial introduction practices rooted in his Apache heritage, offering participants a pathway to reconnect with identity, purpose, and belonging. He has facilitated thousands of programs in treatment centers, tribal communities, healthcare systems, and conferences across the country, using rhythm as a tool for nervous system regulation, emotional expression, and collective healing.
Monica Patton
Monica Patton is a gifted sound healer, drum circle facilitator, Reiki master, artist, and ceremonial guide. Her work is rooted in the intuitive and energetic dimensions of healing, where sound becomes a bridge to inner stillness, emotional release, and spiritual connection.
Using gongs, singing bowls, chimes, voice, and rhythm, Monica creates immersive sound journeys that invite participants into deep states of relaxation and transformation. As a facilitator, she holds a grounded and nurturing space that allows individuals to feel safe, seen, and supported in their process. Her background in sacred communication and ceremony brings a unique depth to her work, helping people reconnect not only with themselves, but with each other.
